Introduction
Career Transitions (2 credits) is the course that prepares you for your Capstone presentation. Graduation Transitions (4 credits) is a requirement for graduation with the B.C. Ministry of Education. School District No 23 supports student completion of this requirement by having each student create a Capstone. Students complete the Career Transitions Assignments, and then use those assignments as preparation for their Capstone PRESENTATION. The Capstone Presentation is a 15 minute discussion involving the student, at least one teacher, and at least one community member and is also typically observed by a grade 11 student. During the presentation, students introduce themselves, discuss their Education, Career & Life Plan.
